Our Course Offers
VWU courses are German language courses for students, who want to study at a Viennese university and whose mother tongue is not German nor do they have a C1 certificate.
These course, divided into 5 overlapping levels (AN, AG, EV, FG, WF), each of which lasts one semester, have to be absolved between 1 and, at most, 4 semesters. Depending on your evaluation you either have to attend all or only a part of those course levels. Goal is to reach the EPD (Supplementary examination in German), which is a pre-requisite to be allowed to study at a Viennese university.
We are an officially ÖSD- and ÖIF-approved and certified course center offering German intensive courses from levels A1 through C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR.

Our headquarters as well as all our class rooms are situated in the heart of Vienna and can easily be reached from any location in the city. The walking distance to the closest public transportation stop is within 200 steps.
